WILLING TOGIVE BEST OF SERVICE "Until very recently when a motorist drove up to a gasoline pump, he would have to run Into a garage or ring a hell In order to get the. attention of the man In charge," says C. D. Kies. "Even then, he received gasoline, and that only none of the little touches of attention which he Is 'shown by the dealers of today. He now finds that a smiling at tendant greets him, and every mark of courtesy and attention . is shown him. "The General Petroleum Corpo ration Is very much pleased with (he remarkable "evolution made by the Independent dealers dis playing the gren-and-white Bltns," Mr, Kies states. "The Cor poration has always been very particular In the choice of its SAFETY 3HsHB!HHH DRUGSTORE dealers, nnd only selected those who were capable and willing to g.ve the best of service. As a result of our care, we have a corps of distributors who we are willing to back to the limit, and they in turn are always ready to back our products. "A great improvement In the neatness and general appearance of the gasoline stations may also be noticed by the motorist of to day, i Formerly, there was often rubbish and scrap piles nearby, and frequently the build. ng or station itself was unsightly. To day these conditions have chang ed. Dealers of General gasoline take great pride In maintRlning neat-appearing stations, and at tempt to make them as attractive as possible. "One of the foremost reasons why (Jeneral dealers are able to take this keen Interest in the gen eral appearance of their stations is the fact that tlrey realize they 1 are permanent and can build up fa good business, as the General I Petroleum Corporation Corpora tion refuses to place another Gt n era I Mat. on within competitive distance of an established station. Thy appreciate these efforts that we take for their protection, and as a result give the best possible service to users of General gaso j line and render their service In a manner which Is bound to malce I him a steady customer.'
