WILLING TOGIVE
BEST OF SERVICE
"Until very recently when a
motorist drove up to a gasoline
pump, he would have to run Into
a garage or ring a hell In order
to get the. attention of the man
In charge," says C. D. Kies. "Even
then, he received gasoline, and
that only none of the little
touches of attention which he Is
'shown by the dealers of today.
He now finds that a smiling at
tendant greets him, and every
mark of courtesy and attention
. is shown him.
"The General Petroleum Corpo

"A great improvement In the
neatness and general appearance
of the gasoline stations may also
be noticed by the motorist of to
day, i Formerly, there was often
rubbish and scrap piles nearby,
and frequently the build. ng or
station itself was unsightly. To
day these conditions have chang

take great pride In maintRlning
neat-appearing stations, and at
tempt to make them as attractive
as possible.
"One of the foremost reasons
why (Jeneral dealers are able to
take this keen Interest in the gen
eral appearance of their stations
is the fact that tlrey realize they
1 are permanent and can build up
fa good business, as the General
I Petroleum Corporation Corpora

Thy appreciate these efforts that
we take for their protection, and

in which Paul manured her.
Being a woman you know even

you are greatly mistaken."
Then he went over a.nd put his
