Tobln, who for the last two months has been an attendant at the glare hospital for the Insane, was arrested today in the office of Ir. It. K. Lee Steiner, superintend ent of the institution, and is in the county jail charged with aiding and abetting an inmate to escape. The charges n-cites that last Tuesday night Tobin let Orel (Courier, an inmate out of a ward at the hospital and later In the ' (night met him with an automobile unu urovo 10 raus my. roue coun Ity, It is alleged, to the home of j Courier's father. The $100 was to be giv en to Tobln. The elder Courter re fused to let his son have the automobile. Hospital authorities suspected that Courier had gone to Falls City and T. V. When MacCowan was called to the stand, all other witusHes in the case were excused from the court room by Judve Dietrich on the motion of W. F. O'Leary of defense counsel.
