The University of Washington's national intercol legiate chniuijioiiship crew defeat ed the University of California shell here today in the annual eight oared racing classic of the I'ac.fic Coast. The winning boat finished the three miles fifteen lengths ahead. California was rowing very rag gedly at the finish, which was o7 seconds behind Washington. It was Washington's third suc cessive victory in the yearly event. It means that the Seatlla shell will enter the national event at Houghkeepsie, N. Y., again this June.
