Gleni were arrivals here from Portland Slon day and were overnight visitors in Roseburg. They left this morning for other southern Orenon points by motor. Coast Man Visitor W. F. liurgess was an arrival here from coast points yesterday evening, and was an overnight visitor. Mr. Burgess resides at Handnn. Visitors From Corvallis Mr. ard Mrs. J. H. Cole were visitors In Hoseburg from Corvallis Monday and over night. They left today for other points In the state by motor. Marriage Licenses Issued Marriage licenses were Issued today to Martin Burbln and Georg lanna M. Perkins of Gardiner, and to Frank A. Brown and Mil dred Bartle, of Glendale. Present Skit An assembly was held Monday afternoon at the high school at 3:40 o'clock, at which time the members of the cast of "The Wish ing Well," gave a skit from the operetta. The glee clubs, under the direction of Miss Hazeltlne, have made good progress, and the operetta promises to be an Inter esting and entertaining production. She resires at Happy Val ley, and spent the afternoon shop ping and visiting. Return from Portland Garry and Leo Rapp. local Star and Durant dealers, returned to this city last night from Port land. They drove a 1925 Star touring car on their return to this city. Here From Spokane Miss Sarah Cole arrived here last night from Spokane, Wash., and will visit with her nieces, Mrs. Nellie Delellln and Miss Flora Johns. Miss Cole may decide to locate In this city. Visiting at Bandon ' Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Graves are visiting at Bandon for several weeks as the house guests of Mrs. Perry Foster. Mr. and Mrs. Graves will probably remain at Bandon for ihree or four weeks. Interested In Mine John S. Lyon, of Glendale was In Roseburg yesterday attending to business matters.
