The Inheritance tax on the estate amounted to about $200, 000. Senator Upton last session Introduced a bill for the remission of the tax on grounds that the es tate was a charity fund. After the session, the governor vetoed the bill. It Is said there is a possibility that a new bill will be Inlroduced providing that about 25 percent of the $200 000 be plac ed III the state Irreducible school fund and that the remainder be re milted.
