Only the size of the auditorium will lim It the number who may attend, and. as this room will seat a huge throng there 1s no question but that thure will be sufficient room for all who de sire to attend. With over $600 worth of valuSble prizes, and all details arranged the school will be ready for the official opening on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p. m. Miss L. Carol Dangler will be in charge and will conduct afternoon sessions each day. These sessions will be in the nature of practical lecture-demonstrations, and the dishes selected by Miss Dangler will be pre pared and cooked in front of the au dience, with each step in the prepar ation and cooking explained as the work proceeds. After the cookiiLg has been dene snmples will bo dis tributed so that the finished product may be Judged. These sessions will be held every afternoon between 2 p. ni. and 4 p. ni. each day. On Friday afternoon, June 20," the baking contest will be held. All persons entering in this contest must have their bread, cakes or pies at the Armory between 10 a. m. and 12 noon on Friday. June 20, and the Judging will take place in the?after noon. Roseburg ladies are not going to have everything their own way in this contest. They are going to have to compete with cooks from all parts of the county, for the News-Review is dally in receipt of communications from rural districts or other commun ities, in which ft Is announced that the ladies Intend to enter their culin ary products in the contest. Tho school is open to all und the News-Review extends un Invitation to every woman in the county to be present. It is advised that women attending the afternoon sessions be prepared 1 with pencil and paper as many valu-j able suggestions will be made which they will desire to write down and ' keep for future reference.
