The Fxtension Division of the Fnl versiiy has ovr 100 moving picture films and 170 stereopticon lantern slide sets which are loaned free to the communities of Oregon. These cover a wide range of subjects and have been selected for their educa tional value. They are suitable both for general showing and for class room use. Many of the slides picture the scenery, resources, history nnd Industries of Oregon. Microscope slides on bolany and zoology and rock and mineral sets are also avail nlde for free loan to the schools of the slate. In 1921, audiences aggregating more that 200,1100 peoplo viewed' this free pictorial material sent nut by the I'nlversitv. Two hundred Oregon communities are now taking advantage of this service.
