for general showing and for class
room use. Many of the slides picture
the scenery, resources, history nnd
Industries of Oregon. Microscope
slides on bolany and zoology and
rock and mineral sets are also avail
nlde for free loan to the schools of
the slate.
In 1921, audiences aggregating
more that 200,1100 peoplo viewed'
this free pictorial material sent nut
by the I'nlversitv. Two hundred
Oregon communities are now taking
advantage of this service. Many
rural communities during the past
year have shown the slides, using
gas lanterns in the absence of electric
current for projection purposes.
