This Is Mr. .Stewart's first visit, to Uoseburg since the war. Ho enlisted as an aviator, and according to government reports he was one of the best In the ser vice. Ho states that a great many people desire to make summer homes there, but the forest service can not give permission until the question of whether or not the Lake district Is to be made a part of the Crater Lake park. If it is made a part of the Park then the forest service will have no jurisdiction and no homes will be al lowed, but if it remains In the Na tional forest, the forest service will be able to allow homeslte9 to be al lowed built at the lake.
