These boys are tfiintr their lives many of them are in order that you may be able to retain your home and enjoy the blessings of life and liberty. Many of these boys will perhaps be wounded on the battle fields or in tin? trenches. The only assurance of re lief reaching them is by means of the lied Cross organization. It is the hourly task day and night of the I'od Cross li. Id and hospital forces to care for thousands who have fallen with shat tered limbs or torn bodies. Anil they are saving at least three out of four of these stricken heroes whose lives otherwise would h ive ebbed away during hones of unpc ikable agony. Hi member, it is for your homo and your couniry. for your safety and your liberty that our boys are going into this war. They are'not lighting for the spoils of worldly gain, but for the rights of humanity. It should be esteemed your privilege as well its your duty to do all you can to provide every possible care for those w ho may be stricken down and can no longei care for themselves or reach any place of refuge. Your contribution, be it great or small, will benefit some poor sufferer. l)o not hesitate. Any bank or post- oiiice win lorwaril your ciiiilni'iitioii to the lied Cross headquar ters.
