Urager Kruit Company has completed the shipment of sev eral thousand pounds of prunes to the KuroH-an countries. Most of the prunes shipped by the Drajier Company were consigned to the British government for use among the allied armies. The prunes were carefully parked in heavy crates, an of which were sealed with sirup iron. The prunes were routed by rail as far as New York, where they were loaded onto boats and dis patched across the water. Liquor Is lteoovelvd A new means or bringing liquor into Oregon has been discovered by, the authorities, to-wit, upon the bumpers of freight trains, says the Medford Sun. Two wanderers ar rested in the Willamette Valley had ten quarts of boozy in their posses sion, which they Imported via the box car route. The purchased the lire-water at Hornbrook.
