Ilarbaugh, Mrs. Innes' son, who lives in Portland, was left In charge of the house at the llolden ranch, lie and his wife arrived in Eugene yesterday morning and im mediately left for the ranch. Mm.' Innes' twin children, Victor and Dorothy, aged six years, were left at the ranch and they will be cared for hy Ilarbaugh and his wife, await ing the outcome of the detention of Innes and his wife. J. M. Devers, county attorney, said yesterday that Innes Is still talking of bringing habeas corpus proceed ings for his release from Jail, hut on what grounds It Is not staled. Innes was advised by John II. Mr Court, Ills attorney In Portland. It Is said, to employ a Eugene attorney to look out for ill in while he is Incar cerated here, hut so far as known he has communicated with none in this city. No light has been thrown on the mystery of the nature of the tiov ernment's charge against Innes. ('buries P.
