ings for his release from Jail, hut

Innes was advised by John II. Mr
Court, Ills attorney In Portland. It Is
said, to employ a Eugene attorney to
look out for ill in while he is Incar
cerated here, hut so far as known he
has communicated with none in this
city.

ernment's charge against Innes.
