Mr. Stephenson, father of James Stephenson, returned Saturday from Uorena, Lane county, where lie has been employed as a watchman at a lumber company's plant. I. W. Coilard and family, of Pis bee, Ariz., who have been visiting for a month past at the home of his brother-in-law, Chas. Mathews, in North Hosehurg, went to Salem to day. Mrs. E. Allenby and Ron, Arthur Allenhy, who have resided on the Sharp place, in West Hosehurg, for a year past, left today for (heir fu ture home at Woodhurn. Mr. and Mrs. ThoH. ALlenhy, who lived on the Bradford place, adjoining the Sharp farm, went to Woodhurn a week ago. After confinement for four months In a Portland honpitul, which includ ed a very severe operation for stom ach trouble. Mrs. O. I,. Willis, well known In this city, where she former ly resided for many years, passed through Roseburg this morning en route home to Dillard. Her recovery is complete, so far as her malady Is concerned, and she is gradually gain ing in weight. Her daughter, Mrs. H. L. Froggatt, of Portland, accom panied her home. Mrs. V. T.
