In the Wimbledon 1000-yard match he scor ed 97. beating the match record of 91. made by Captain Richard, of Ohio, In 1903. Casey won the Wim bledon here last year by the score of S8, under very unfavorable condi tions. Today the conditions were as nearly perfect as could be desired.
