Among the recent suggestions tor the beautifying of our city is one for planting the eastern and northern portions of the court house square to roses, with perhaps a few other (lowers. Those portions are exclus ive of the benutlfut lawn to the south and west of the court house and de voting them to the production of beautiful roses would seem to be a very appropriate thing to do. The cleaning up movement has been put into effect along the courthouse square as well as elsewhere in our city and gfves( promise of spreading clear to the corporate limits. Let the good work go on.
