School commences In the Hayhurst district Monday with Miss Wilson in ch arge. With the best of grass to feed upon, cattle and sheep are rapidly gaining in weight after the winter season. Lumber Is being cut for the new postollico building and store, which will soon be in course of erection. An old bridge a quarter of a mile south of the mill has been replaced by a new ono four feet .higher. This was made necessary by the increase in the depth and volume of water in the mill pond. When all the gates are now closod the water becomes four feet deoper In the pond than heretofore. Mr. Charles S. Fegles was a welcome visitor at tho mill during the past week.
