The following data, covering a period of 2i years, have been compiled from the Weather Bureau records at Hose- burg, Oregon. They are issued to show tho conditions that have pre vailed, during the month in question, for the above period'uf years, but must aot be construed us a forecast of the weather conditions for the coming month. Month of July for 20 years: Mean or normal temperature, titi; the warmest month was that of 1890, with an avor ugo of 71; the coldest month was that of 1884, with an average of M; the highest temperuturo was 102 on 23rd, 1801; the lowest tcmperatuse was 40 on 15th, 1887. Average precipitation for the month, 0.37 inches; average number of days with .01 of an inch or more, 3; the greatest monthly precipitation was 2.20 inches, in 1880; the least monthly pre uipitutlon whs 0 inches in 1890; the greatest amount of precipitation re corded in any 24 consecutive hours was 1.27 inches on 19th and 20th, 1880. Averuge number of clear days, 18; partly cloudy days, 0; cloudy days, 4; the prevailing winds have been from the northwest; the averago velocity of the wind is 4.4 miles; the highest ve locity of the wind was 2d miles from the southwest on 14th, 1902.
