January 16, we recolved the official notification, that our war work as retail price reporter for the U. S. Food commission was finished, and all of the staff were out of a job. And we-received very flattering re ports of. tho manner in -which our work was done, which wo fully ap preciated. We thank all Glendale doalers who assisted us In making good in doing this work despite ad verse conditions rendered. We fol lowed our duty according to instruc tions all- the time. A special meeting of the Red Cross is in progress at the home of Mrs. F. F. Williams this afternoon.
