Dunham, pastor of the First Baptist church of Eugene; Mrs. 15. G. O. Groat, and Mrs. A. E. Phelps, of Cot tage Grove, arrived in this city to day. All are delegates to the Ump nua Valley Baptist Association, being held nt the First Baptist church of this city. J. . Ftvotimn Returns. J. C. Freeman returned last ev ening from Silver Lake, Oregon, where ho had gone in answer to a summons stating that his brother, R. I Jt had been seriously injured in an automobile accident. He was uc companied to this city by, the in jured man. who has almost fully re covered, and the latter will renin in here for several days enjoying a visit at tho Freeman home. The injured man was unconscious for 1 4 hours after the accident and it was thought for a while that It would be impos sible to revive him. He was badly cut about the head and face. Boost W. S.
