Clyde Adair, who is employed at the Douglas County Creamery, of tills city, was lined $2 this morning when found cutting corners. Mr. Adair was driving a horse and buggy at the time of the arrest. Mrs. F. L. Russell, who has been visiting with her daughter, Mrs. S. M. Kelly, of Glengary, returned to tier home In this city this afternoon. Mrs. Itussell was accompanied home by Mrs. W. H. Brown, of Mendlclno, Calif., who will be her guest during her stay here of several weeks. Levi White, who 1b a member of the 10th Columbia, C. A. C, passed through this cfty this atternoon en routo to Fort Stevens. Mr. White Is well known in this city aud for the past five weeks has been confined to a hospital at the Presidio in San Francisco, where he underwent an operation for appendicitis. Harden, of Yoncalla, was in town today attending to matters per taining to filing the final account in the estute of Amos C. harden, de ceased. The estate was administered by J. H.
