Eunna Kader Hague, beloved wife of .iiiy Hague, was born at the old Ruder home, near Kellogg, April 23, 1887. and died at Bend, Oregon. May 14, 1916. For ten years she taught school in Douglas county,, and was a very suc cessful teacher. Shortly after her marriage, on September 20, 191G, at Prinoville, Oregon, she began a school at Alfalfa, Oregon, whore she was stiM teaching when she took sick just three days before her death. It came as a great shock to her rolatives and friends, as it was unex pected even by the nurso and doc tor at the hospital where she expect ed to undergo an operation tho day she died. "A kings daughter, all glorious within with gladness and rejoicing hath entered into the king's pal aco," but her work will go on In the lives of the many children who were her pupils for "She hath done what she could," and it is impossible for mortal man to know the' good she accomplished in the life that was finished so soon. ' Tho bereaved husband brought the body home and it was luid away amid sunshine and flowers in the Elkton cemetery, on May 16, near the broth er who was burled just five weeks before. The face that was always so beau tiful in life, was touched with a won derful peace, and a smile lingered on the sweet- Hps, as if the angels had kissed them, as she crossed "over the river" and left there, for the comfort of the bereaved one, a mes sage of the gladness that had come to her. God has given her his peace "pence that passoth understanding" but In tho hearts of those who loved her, there is a vacancy that can novor bo filled. "nut over In the Morning Land, Some glad day she'll clasp our hand, And then we'll' know and under stand." Resides the husband and parents she leaves four brothers: Boyd, Charles and Oscar Rader, of Tyco, and Ray Rader, of Seattle, and three sisters, Malissa Norman, of San Diego: Myrtilla Emmltt, of Umpqna, and Rose Burns, of Seattle.
