In a close and exciting game of basket ball at Sutherlln last night, the Sophomore team of the local high school defeated the high school quintet of Stitherlin by a score of 32 to 26. A large crowd was In at tendance, most of whom were sup porters of the Sutherlln aggregation, Both teams' placed excellent bayi, the Roseburg boys, however, out classed their opponents in passing and basket shooting. Ferbrache is very till at her home at Oakley farm. We sure have snow, and we really do not feel so very much Inclined to read Whlttler's beautiful creation as we have done when reading It In summer time. Yet how very true to life are his descriptions of the old home "snow bound" and how truly we all enjoyed those halcyon childhood reminiscences.
