“ THE B LUE M OUSE.” PO PULAR ETHEL D A V IS AT TH LYRIC THEATRE. Widely Discussed Farce to Be Bak er Stock Co.’s Next Offering. Nearly every one has at least heard about “ The Blue Mouse,” that lively farce, which swept through the country a few years ago, and which will now he seen for the first time in stock, the pop ular Baker Stock Company offer ing it next week, starting with the usual Sunday matinee. It is a story of a young man’s brilliant scheme to further his bus iness interests by hiring a very much alive young woman and near actress to get into the good graces of his crusty, old employer, and finally coax or browbeat, if neces sary, a substantial advance for said young man. As both these men are married, and as Paulette, known as “ The Blue Mouse,” is a very busy worker, a lot o f the most unexpected and laughable situa tions are brought about. The play is one scream after another, and is well deserving o f all the popularity it has received during the past few years. It will he seen at the Baker I week. \vgli a matinee Saturday.
