THE SCENE VARIES WHEN I LEAVE CHEMAWA... This is my last year at Chemawa. I would like to come back later and see how it will be. My true thoughts about Chemawa is 1 learned a great deal about living on my own. And educationally. I learned as well as I did at home. I learned a lot of Indian tradition and other Tribes ways. 1 hope this school will never close. Many students have no place to go. When will they think hard enough that we Indians need education like they wanted us to in the early days? I will always remember Chemawa and be thankful. —Monica A. Lewis Paiute/Pim a
