W • z < '- as Z » The poem I liked best is “ Thana- topsis.” I like this poem because at this point in life 1 have really thought about death and dying and 1 have learned not to be afraid of it. I can really relate to some of the things he is talking about. It is put together really good 1 think. It makes a lot of sense. Stand Straight, and tail....... hold your head up high show you are on e...... and no other....... . PICTURES AND MUSIC On the mountain Sits the eagle. His wings are spread, He is ready to fly. In the wind You hear his cry. The eagle is lonely On his way to hunt And kill his prey. “ How many a man has dated a new era in his life from the reading of a book!’’ Seeing the Past cannot return, wisely improve the Present. It is yours. Go on...without fear and with a strong heart, (a paraphrase) —H. W. Lisa Wippert Have you ever wondered why people ever thought of pictures and music? 1 think it was so people could learn about other people, places, things, other people’s interests, untold fantasies and learn about the memories of others. It is quite the art of society 1 think. Pictures and music seem to go to gether. Somehow they bring out and express a lot of feelings. Could you ever image this world with out pictures or music? I couldn’t. It would be so cold and withdrawn. How do blind and deaf people make it here on earth without the beautiful sounds of music and the pictures that fill the earth?
