Emery Hall - a shirt and some cologne. Gary Brown - a stereo. Mr. John - nothing! Isabell Martin - a watch. Mitch Boyd - Nothing! Penny Hughes - a watch. Alex Hernandez - a .225 rifle and a pool stick. Roger Jim - some clothes and a hair-cut. Darla McCullough - nothing special. Hazel Noyes - all kinds of clothes turquoise ring, "11" necklace, and earrings. Tilden McDonald - after-shave. Charlie Hopkins - a pair of socks. Mr. Wittman - a new suit of clothes and a double grilled hamburger maker. Mr. Lamb - tired and a new jacket. Cheri James - just some powders and perfume. Wands Bullchild - some espensive turquoise. Kelly Kenmille - some clothes and a couple of rings. Pat Stensgar - a vest. T.J. James - a 12 guage shot-gun and a .22 pistol. Tony Boyd - clothes. Doll Wabaunsee - some money, a pool stick, some junk, and a stolen kiss from Santa. Juanita Reyes - an 8 track radio, and a whole bunch of necklaces. Three Picked MacLaren Tournament All-Stars (L-R) Gary Brown, Robin Matt and Marvin Devereaux. Devereaux was also named Most Valuable Player for the tournament. Wrestlers Needed Chemawa needs more wrestlers ac cording to Coach Lawyer. The Braves need grapplers in the 98, 106, 123, 130, 148, 157, 178 and 191 weight classes. Those already out includes Oliver Pimms - 115, Marvin Perdash - 136, Paul Poirer - 141, Chuck Felix - 141, Henry Cagey - 148, Tony Williams - 167, Steve Filkins - Hwy and Bill Slater - Hwy. Chemawa needs wrestlers at all weight classes in order to win dual meets which are scored on a team basis. Marvin Gets 4 3 Marvin Deveraux tossed in 43 points in a game against Jefferson, January 7, but his scoring did not help the Braves win their first league game as Chemawa fell 65 - 76. Others who scored were: Robin Matt - 10, Gary Brown - 6, Gary Aitkins - 4, and Bill Sharp - 2. Gary Brown and Gary Aitkins got 6 rebounds each. Girls Rip Lions Chemawa girls over-powered Jefferson girls for their first home league basketball win on January 6, with a footstomping score of 53 -1 5 . High scorer was Debbie Jane with 22 points. Others scoring were Arkie Adolph - 11, Hazel Noyes - 8, Leeda Yallup - 4, Juanita Reyes - 4, Rosetta Yallup - 2, and Peggy Simpson - 2. The J.V .’s won their game by the score of 24 - 14. High scorer was Rosetta Yallup - 10. Others scoring were: Evelyn Small - 5, Denise Jane - 5, and Blanche Slockish - 2. G/r/s Win Again The Chemawa girls over-took the Kennedy Trojans by the score of 29 - 21. The Trojans held the Che mawa Braves to a low scoring game. Top scorer was Denise Jane with 7. Others scoring were: Arkie Adolph - 6, Peggy Simpson - 4, Rosetta Yallup - 4, Debbie Jane - 2, Hazel Noyes - 2, and Juanita Reyes - 2. The J.V.’s won their game by the score of 22 - 21 with Rosetta Yallup making the last two points to win the game. TOURNAMENT ALL-STARS
