For warm-ups th e y do ’’t h r i l l i n g th i n g s ” : lik e h i t d r i l l s , p u sh -u p s, s t o mach s t r e t c h e s , u jum ping ja c k s , wind m i l l s . . . and th e y run about 3,000 y ard s a day w ith heavy pads o n .. Most o f th e r e s t o f th e tim e th e y work on p la y s t h a t a r e used in games. F o o tb a ll p la y e r s p u t in 16 to 20 h o u rs a week o f t h e i r own tim e . And, most o f t h i s tim e i s s p e n t in in t e n s i v e p h y s ic a l a c t i v i t y These guys a re s a c r i f i cin g a l o t f o r t h e i r school and f o r £110 s tu d e n t b o d y ..
