I t ’ s George Washington’s Birthday and McBride Hall is sponsoring a “ Happy Birthday, George Washington" dance from 7:00 to 10:30 ill w :au P.M. p.M. in the school gym. Dress uress w in be school clothes. Door prizes, including Cherry Pies, w ill be given away. Miss February of McBride w ill be crowned at the dance. Hooray!! No school February 23. Since Washington’ s birthday (February 22) falls on Sunday, the following Monday becomes a federal holiday. Washington is the only President whose birthday is celebrated in this manner.
