CHORAL CONCERT A SUCCESS The 4th Annual Winter Con c e rt, presented by the Music Department, was held Monday evening, March 10th, in the school auditorium . A crowd of sev eral hundred people attended the concert. A ll who were th e r e agreed th a t i t was a concert worth remembering. The Chairman of th e Music Department, Eldon R. Wolfe, Education S p e c ia lis t (Fine A rts ), can be proud o f the fin e perform ances given by the students. The groups th a t performed were the *A’ Choir, the Happy V alley S in g e rs , th e Mixed Chorus and the G irls’ Triple T rio. S elections ranged from 18th Century Bach to present-day jean Berger. I t was an evening which w ill long be remembered by a ll. who attended. Nick Krukoff Chemawa’ s Business Education Department has something new to o ffe r stu d en ts. In addi tio n to th e 20 r e g u l a r l y scheduled classes, a Graphic A rts C enter has been e s ta blished. Shield Downey, Harry Moore, William F ield , Henry Lupie, Fred Huntington, Bert Jones, N ick K ru k o ff and A lb e r t Asteriak have become experi enced operators of an o ffset. The a r t i s t i c a b i l i t i e s of Eddie Lee and Raymond Hosteen have been used to good advan- t a g e in m a i n t a i n i n g an auth en tic Indian s e ttin g in the illu s tra tio n s and designs for programs and s ta tio n e ry th a t has been produced by the group. S tu d e n ts from Typing I I and O ffice P ra c tic e cla sse s are scheduled each month to work in various o f f ic e s on the campus. I t is f e l t th a t th e p r a c t i c a l e x p e rie n c e g a in e d by w o rking in an office is invaluable.
