HOMECOMING 0 CTOBER 25, 1968 Bonfire PARADE l_ast Fr i day morning we had a hom ecom ing p a ra d e on campus. The parade s ta rte d a t i 1 :0 0 a . m. The Band members were the f i r s t in lin e lead by the boyscouts c a r r y i n g th e f l a g . T he. parade s ta rte d from --the” gym toward M it c h e ll tween B rew er H a l l , back towards the gym in o f the d in in g h a l l, * l bona H a ll, down to McBride H a il, to the road up toward „store, and pass the Power House, back to the gym. The parade only lasted aboot 20 minutes. There were many fin e flo a ts and m a rc h in g u n i t s . T h e J u n io rs w in n in g the award fo r the best flo a t. G uest o f h o n o r i n t h e 's t u d e n t c o u n c il c a r was Sgt. Norman Stevens, a former Chemawa student, whos;has ju s t returned from Vietnam. Irene Hosteen Candle Light Supper Held On November 1, 1968, we had our Candle Light Dinner. I t was q u ite .a dinner-— you had to w a it in lin e before you got to serve y o u rs e lf. Everybody must have eaten enough and the lig h t bulbs were changed to r ed and blue p lu s th e re were candles on every ta b le . Thanks to a l l the kitchen s t a f f .
