3 COM PUTORS A RRIVE Students P resen ted Play The a r r i v a l of th e te le ty p e .s tir r e d q u ite a b i t of enthusiara, but when the l i t t l e ECP-18 computor a rriv e d , stu d e n ts r e a l l y went w ild . They were beginning tounderstand why they had devoted so much of the t ime l a s t sem ester to the lea rn in g of computor language and why th ey had spent so many hours on a s lid e ru le . Twenty-five stu d e n ts a re involve in working w ith th e computor and each stu d en t has to develop h is own program and run i t to check f o r any e rro rs . The ECP-18 i s a slow working computor w ith a sm all memory bank. However, you w on't th in k th a t it has a sm all memory i f you t r y and play some of the a rith m e tic games with i t .
