During this time he has been an active participant in stu dent activities. He has maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.91. Mark will be entering George Fox Col lege, Newberg, Oregon. He plans to major in elementary education and return to his native Alaska as an elementary teacher. Salutatorian Eugene Makarin has also been here for the entire four years. His cumulative GPA is 3.73. Eugene has also taken part in student projects and activities. His future plans are not defin ite, but he has been offered some attractive possibilities. B BACCALAUREATE SERVICES Baccalaureate Services for the class of 1967 were held in Chem awa Auditorium, Sunday, May 21, 1967, at 7:00 P.M. It was an impressive service as 206 seniors clad in bright blue caps and gowns, with the red and white tassel of Chemawa attached to their caps, filed down the aisle to occupy a major section of the auditorium seats. Speaker for the service was Fa ther Nicolas Sanin, Campus Priest Russian Orthodox, who delivered a stern and challenging message about the fact that: “It’s our world, ib isn’t a very pretty one, but it is our responsibility to try and change it.” I 1 The processionar was played by Mrs. Eldon Wolfe, invocation was given by Rev, Arthur E. Crouch, First Presbyterian, benediction by Mr. Melvin Olson, deacon LDS Church. The Chemawa Choir provided special musical numbers and mem bers of the Chemawa Sunday School rendered the scripture readings.
