Landbloom, General Superintendent of the Navajo Agen cy at Window Rock, Arizona. Of the 110 graduates 83 were Navâjos from the Southwest and 27 Were from Alaska. Mr. Kenneth K. Crites, Acting Area Director of Education, stop ped by on his way back to Juneau, Alaska, from a visit to Washington, D.G. Mr. Carl Bartels, Communications Officer, Portland Area Office. His visit concerned our campus com munications system. Mr. Glenn Landbloom, General Superintendent, Navajo Agency, Window Rock, Arizona, was the principal speaker for the gradua tion exercises. Mr. Albert E. Bertram and Mr. Murray A. Getz, U.S. Public Health service, came as a survey Team concerning the health and sanita tion facilities of our school. Mr. Graham C. Rice, Range Con servations! and Mr. Francis S. Van Sickle, Foresterj Portland Area Of fice. These men were here at the invitation of the Agriculture De partment to speak on their special ities with the Ag students. Attending our graduation exer cises were Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Holtz. Mr. Holtz "is Area Director. Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Balsinger. Mr. Balsinger .is the Assistant Area Director, Community Services; and Mr. and Mrs. Victor E. Hill. Mr. Hill is the Area Director of Schools; All are with our Portland Area Of fice. Mr. Warren Tiffany, Superin tendent of Wrangell Institute and personal representative of the Area Director of Alaska. This was Mr. Tiffany’s first visit to our school. SCOUTS DO GOOD TURN It?s a fin e thing th a t th e re are scouts a t Chemawa to h elp in m any d iffere n t ways. D uring th e pageant E xplorer Scouts parked all th e cars and. control l e d ' traffic.
