T he C hkm aw a 3 A m erica n J u s t S e n io r s C H E hails from H arlem , M ontana, w here she g rad u ated from th e H arlem P ublic School. She th en came to Chem aw a to enter her fresh m an year. H er sophom ore year found her p resi d en t of th a t class, and her ju n io r year found her stu d y in g com m ercial. She is now th e secretary of th e Senior Class and form er president of the little Flow er Society. H e r greatest am bition is to be a success. H er hobby is w ritin g and you m ight guess th a t her favorite past tim e is eating. A lthough one m ust adm it th a t is a wee bit unusual, for she and her room m ate “ D odo” Day often eat after nine P .M . Even if she dosen t eat m uch of a n y th in g else h er greatest weakness is stewed p runes. In less serious m om ents you m ay hear her e x claim ing * Oh y o u !” She is fair in w ork and play, has a keen sense of hum or, and is friendly. T hese are a few of th e things th a t go to m ake up th is w inning little personality of E rm a “ S lin g er” C ham berlin. 'T 'H E treasurer of th e Seniors rated eating 1 as a satisfactory reply. F riends of E dw ard A rcham beau m ay say th at sports is his idea ci fun. H e has an active interest in sports, but basketball, baseball and track rank highest w ith hi^a. F u rth e r questioning reveals th at he also has a lik in g for tennis and d ee r” h u n tin g . T h ro u g h A thletics he has earned four stripes, b u t he th in k s th ree stripes are more attractive on his “ C ” sw eater. E d w a rd ’s nicknam e is “ b u d ” or b u d d y .” Buddy was born at W olf P oint, M ontana, M arch 2, 1919. H e attended school at Poplar, M ontana. B u d ’s one am bition is to be a m achinist and he “ hopes” to be a good one. If one should ask him w hat his hobby is, he m ight volunteer th at he “ likes to sleep .” H e was form er vice-president of th e Junior Class He has been an officer for three years. They are ty p in g th e Social Econom ic Class m aterial on different tribes. These are to be kept on file and sent to W ashington D. C. E dith T ra ck has received her fifty-w ord a m inute aw ard. T he rem ainder of th e class are striving for th eir aw ards. Everyone seems to be w ondering who made a “ drindle h an d o u t” bag in the Senior Com mercial sew ing class.
