Hatfield was the scoring ace with 14 points to his credit. The final score was Che mawa 36, Molalla 37. On March 19, the All-Stars journeyed to Mt. Angel and avenged the defeat of the night before. In spite of the handicap of playing two games in succession they rolled up a score of 40 points to that of 36 for Mt. Angel. Dewey Matt was high point man with 15 points. The last game was played at Chemawa on March 24 with Dallas as opponents. The All-Stars were again victorious with a score of 56-48. Dewey Matt, forward, was high point man again with 16 points. Some steps have been taken to form a new athletic conference among the seven largest high schools in the Willamette Valley. Chemawa is a representative in this league which it is believed would result in one of the strongest conferences in the state. At a dinner meeting, March 18, the principals and coaches of the seven high schools which include Eugene, Corvallis, McMinnville, Albany, Oregon City, Salem and Che mawa, were invited. Plans were not definitely dis cussed because some of the principals were not present. Another meeting will be called at Chemawa April 15. VOCATIONS The senior class teachers were entertained Wednes day evening by the senior practice house girls. Fred The barber shop has three new boys who have be gun the trade in barbering. The machine shop boys have been working very in dustriously in spite of the play grounds just outside the door. Robert Phernetlen is very busy perfecting an electric grinder which will be of use in the mak ing of self-centering pistons. The boys regret the loss of Pressley LaBreache who has returned to the kitchen. The girls working under Miss Strauch are serving dinners for the boys. The junior girls will have com pleted their course this week and the senior girls will start serving their practice dinners.
