Artists in Residence Directory Theater • Music • Dance • Art Next issue, November 18, What’s Happening begins publishing a weekly directory of local performers, artists, teachers, lecturers, media and craftspersons. The Artists-in-Residence Directory will list vital information in a 4 or 5 line format tailored to meet each indi vidual's needs, something like this: Name, area of specialty or descriptive function Home, studio, or crafts fair address/no address Phone number, city Succinct 2-line description of performance, service, or product you want to advertise (as you would in a business card, for exam ple) To illustrate, a voice teacher describes her services under MUSIC: Majida Friedman, Voice 485-0979, Eugene Developing the natural voice, Singing for all ages. A second example is this entry under DANCE: Carol McIntyre, Director Aloha Nui Company 484-9874, Eugene ‘ Authentic Polynesian Dance Performances For large or small groups. Between now and the new year, What’s Happening is making a terrific offer to local artists: for the next seven issues, we’ll list you in our Artists-in-Residence Directory for only 310. After January 1, the cost for the service will be 35 a month, plus a 35 one-time-fee for new listings. Create your own unique listing and send us the information plus fee.
