Academie de Ballet Classique will be pre- senting two performances, at 1 p.m. and at 6 p.m. Kemp will portray Drosselmeyer, Snow/ Flower Corps de Ballet, Russian and The Sugar Plum Fairy. “We have been rehearsing since September, and it is sure to be a great show for all ages,” Kemp said. The 21-year-old Sisters dancer is marking a milestone with the performance. “Personally, this is likely to be my final show in Central Oregon, as I will be starting school in January,” she said. “Starting after the new year I will be studying dance at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Feels like a chapter coming to a close. I’ve danced with the Royal Academie of Dance (an inter- national ballet curriculum) for nearly 18 years and I have studied with Valerie Holgers, the owner of Academie de Ballet Classique, since I moved to Oregon at the age of nine.” For information and tickets for The 21 Delicious homemade holiday baked goods made from scratch.
