Wednesday, November 21, 2018 The Nugget Newspaper, Sisters, Oregon Travelin’ McCourys roll into Bend The Travelin’ McCourys will set fire to the stage with their arsenal of burning blue- grass on Monday, November 26, at 7:30 p.m. at the Tower Theatre in Bend. The performance is pre- sented by the nonprofit Tower Theatre Foundation and promises to be overflow- ing with inventive bluegrass and stellar musicianship. The McCoury brothers were born into the tradition, and spent many years on the road with their legendary dad, Del. However, The Travelin’ McCourys have never been a band to limit themselves to one genre. Sisters voters defeated the ballot measure that would have approved the establish- ment of marijuana-based busi- nesses in the city. The original ordinance was drafted ahead of the ballot measure to be in place if the measure passed.
