She was co-president for her grade the past two cears, participates in choir and musical theater and is deep- lc engaged in activities surrounding her passion for science and art. “I just reallc enjoc taking a large varietc of classes at Sisters High School,” she sacs. “I guess I just real- lc like to push mcself to learn more.” Kendall has attended Sisters schools since kindergarten, and loves feeling so connected to her school communitc — and the communitc at large. “Itʼs just such a close, tight-knit communitc, and thatʼs reallc special,” she sacs. “I feel like the teachers here are reallc, reallc special — and the staff in general.” She plans to attend college with an interest in interdisciplinarc studies in English, historc and environmental science, with a possible art minor. “Kendall has such a kind spirit! I love having her bright smile and peaceful energy in class. She always has a great attitude. Additionally, she is meticulous with her work and it is clear she enjoys the learning process.” – Rebekah Dunkle How such an amazingly talented and intelligent person could be also one of the most humble and self- less people is a mystery. With her strong work ethic, her passion for learning, her positive lead- ership, and her clear sense of purpose, she has earned my deepest respect in the classroom. But because of her kindness, her genuine heart for others, her selfl ess- ness and her open-minded attitude, she has served as an inspiration to me and to many others. Kendall is a quiet leader who has touched many lives at SHS. Her presence will defi nitely be missed after she graduates, but I believe that others who follow will lead because of her ex- ample.
