Enter the Parade ~ Habitat Needs Volunteers Veterans Assembly at SMS The season approaches! Sisters Christmas Parade applicaitons are now available at the Sisters Chamber offi ce. Child Car Seat Checkup On Friday, November 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Sisters- Camp Sherman Fire District will conduct a child car seat checkup at the fi re station, 301 S. Elm St. Nationally certifi ed car seat technicians will check seats for recalls and instruct families on proper fi t for the child in the seat, and the seat in the vehicle. Writers: Meet with Others Tuesdays in November from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Suttle Tea, the Nanowrimo Writers Group invites writers working on their novel to meet with other writers for support (no critique). Sweet lady AMEY is a 6-year-old beagle/pug mix, seeking her forever home. Amey arrived at the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a cuddler who knows “sit,” “stay,” “come” and “lay down.” Amey didn’t have much interest in the cat she met at the shelter.
