A prayer breakfast will be held at Sisters Community Church, 7 to 8:45 a.m. (doors open at 6:45 a.m.). Guest speaker is Brett Miller, founder of Warfi ghter Outfi tters, a nonprofi t that brings veterans together on fi shing and hunting trips. DLT Walk + Hike series Now through November, Deschutes Land Trust volunteer naturalists lead more than 120 free walks, hikes, and bike rides. Child Car Seat Checkup Help for Veterans The Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District will hold a child car seat checkup on Friday, May 5, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Sisters Fire Hall. Nationally certifi ed technicians will check your child’s seat for any recalls, as well as proper fi t and installation, and caregivers may receive help with installation (bring your child, and seat and vehicle user manuals, if possible).
