Hodges said, “We had key hits in key situations, with runners on base, and our pitchers threw strikes. And, we were able to get out of a couple of sticky situations without the Lions scoring runs.” On Friday, the Outlaws tallied eight hits, and com- mitted no errors in their 4-0 shutout over the Huskies. Sweet Home had six hits in the game and recorded two errors. Morgan posted his eighth win of the season as the Outlaws pitcher. Zach pitched the first four innings, and Luz came in to finish. In the third inning, Olivier hit a double to the right- center gap to score Luz from first, for Sisters’ first run of the contest. The Outlaws added three more runs in the fourth. Ben Larson hit a line-drive to left-center to drive in Odin Thorson. Later in the inning, Alec Gannon hit the ball back to the pitcher, which resulted in the Huskies trying to run down Cody Kreminski between third and home. Kreminski was hit in the back, but was able to score. Olivier hit an RBI single to score Sisters’ final run. Sisters hit the ball well, but left many runners on base, especially in the fourth.
