This fundraiser is simple to participate in: show up to Rio on Thursday, April 23 and buy dinner and drinks. The profits generated from the night’s festivities will be put toward the fund. “Our preschool is desper- ately in need of new equip- ment to play on,” a SPRD representative reported. “With the fundraised money we would like to install play- ground equipment that is both educational and for play. Fall-safe material will be dis- tributed across the ground to make playing safer for the kids.” SPRD has myriad events coming up this season, including a community din- ner during the Sisters High School Bingo Night on Monday, April 27, and a Cinco de Mayo event at the FivePine Convention Center on Sunday, May 3.
