Wednesday, January 14, 2015 The Nugget Newspaper, Sisters, Oregon Singer makes a stop in Sisters Outlaws host bingo tourney The Outlaws will host a fun, family-friendly evening out in Sisters Country this month. Outlaws Together Bingo is scheduled for Monday, January 26; doors open at 5 p.m. for dinner, and bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Sisters High School Commons. Contestants pay $15 for 11 games, including a game of Bingo Blackout with the grand prize of a 32 GB Apple IPad Mini with retina display. 13 All proceeds benefit the Sisters High School Outlaws Together athletics department. A community dinner sponsored by Sisters Park & Recreation District will be held prior to bingo. Come and enjoy a great meal for only $2. The Belfry is proud to present multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Casey Abrams Friday, January 23, at 8 p.m. Casey Abrams’ story is that of a born natural, but it’s also the story of a person who studied diligently and worked extremely hard, striv- ing toward his dream of a life in music. He was born in Austin, Texas, to professionally accomplished, extraordinarily creative parents. Casey’s mother, Pamela Pierce, a screenwriter and teacher, also plays piano and sings. His father, Ira Abrams, cur- rently teaches at Idyllwild Arts Academy, the distin- guished private school in the mountains above Palm Springs, California, that proved instrumental in shap- ing Casey’s musical life.
