Southern Illinois and Southuruii Indiana re ports aro considerably more favor able of Into than a week ago. Up;ni the whole, however, reports for this section indicate a light orop. Fourth. Southern Oroup, Including West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky and Tennessee West Vir ginia, Virginia ami Maryland show promise of a good crop. Fruit gen erally setting well, except in some places on young trees, ;md where trees had a full crop a year ago. For thu whole of these states the coming crop promises to exceed a year ago. For Kentucky, tho Louisville section, which is the most important, late re ports show hut little damage, with prospects of a very good crop. Fifth, Pacific Oroup Considerable damage reported in some sections of ('(dorado and Idaho, yet witli tli" increased acreage enmius; in bearing in Colorado, some (if our reports in dicate clinch left to make almost as large a crop as a year ago. Oregon and Washington promise hy far the largest crop in their history, with conditions in California also very favorable for a heavy crop. Sixth, Canada Trees well set and prospects excellent. For the United States iih a whole, making liberal al lowances for any damage from Ohio westward to Fastern Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas, there is yet promise for a larger crop than any of thu threu previous crops.
