No word has been received horo from Washington regarding any such opinion. It Is evident th.at Yakima's case Rumors of tho selection of a site for a Federal building wore rife on tho streets this morning. It was stated on the corners that the site of tho Washington school had been sold to tho government and that a fed eral building would be erected there. Tho report looks good, barring two facts one, that in order to sell the school grounds an affirmative vote of tho people of tho district is necessary, nnd the other, that the government should offer to buy. It is nmong tho possibilities al most sureties that a federal build ing will ho ordered for Medford at this session of congress, but until the appropriation is made (hero is no use working up a sentiment on the question of a site for the same. When yonr Uncle Samuel takes n notion to build a home for tho p office, the weather bureau, the fed eral court nnd other govenimcnt.il offices, he "will buy what ho wants nnd build the house that's about nil there will bo to it. This is the only way in which Aberdeen can get back into the circuit, it appears, and there is a strong probability that six clubs will comprise the leacrue. after all. D. E. Dugdale, president of the Se attle baseball club, says he is in fn vor of letting in both towns, provid ing that enough money is put up by Everett promoters. Woar Kidd's Shoes.
