The strongest support accorded to the scheme appears In Yreka In Siski you county, which town made a bid for the capital. Opposition to the plan Is expressed In dispatches from. Redding, in Shasta county, and from Eureka in Humboldt county, both ot which were planned to be included In the new state. Besides the foregoing three counties, the backers of tho new state plan were to include Dol Norte, Modoc, Lassen and Trinity counties In California nnd seven counties in Ore gon. . Yrt'kn is for It.
