EDITOE VS. DOCTOS. Bow II Get It, as Compared with MB M. . If an editor makes .a mistake he has to apologize for it, but if a doctor makes one he buries it. If the editor makes one there is a lawsuit, swearing and a smell of sulphur, but if the doctor makes one there is a funeral, cut flowers Bad a smell of varnish. The doctor can use a word a yard long without knowing what it means, but if the editor uses it he has to spell it.-. If the doctor goes to see another man's wife he charges for the ' visit, but if the editor goes to see an other man's wife he gets a charge of buckshot. Any old medical college can make a doctor, but can't make an editor. He has to be bom. When a doctor gets drunk it's a case of overcome by heat, and if he dies it is heart trouble. When an editor gets drunk it's a case of too v much booze and if he dies it's delirium tremens. Yellow Jacket. Furthermore, when a doctor' can't pay his bills, he goes to church and takes advantage of the bankrupt law. When an editor can't pay his bills be goes to jail and the sheriff nails the double cross on his printshop door. When a doctor gets married a senator stands up as best man, the bride is given away by her father and a big feed follows. ' When an editor gets married it is generally under false pretenses, the "devil" acts as best man, the girl has to run away from father and home, and sardine sandwiches and ten cents worth , of peanuts constitute the wedding sup per. The doctor's bride is at once pro vided with a tennis court and racquets, a yacht, an automobile and a piano. The editor's bride is at once presented with a "tenas" racket minus the court, a washtub to play on, an ax and an autoknowhow to use it. And yet the editor and the doctor get along very amicably in the same community, They breathe the same air. , . . Wood, tack on a stanza and . pass it along. Rathlione Bisters. For several years more or leos efforts have been made to organize a temple of Rathbone Sisters at Weston, but hereto fore these attempts have invariably "flashed in the pan," says the Leader. Not long ago, however, Stevens Lodge No. 49, K. of P., appointed J. II. Price as a committee of one to see if it were possible for "the boys" to acquire some charming sisters to aid in promoting , their social wolfare, and Mr. Price rest ed not until the feat was accomplished. Friday evening Mrs. Eliza Imbrie, of Hillsboro, Grand Chief for Oregon Rathbone Sisters, instituted a temple with a good-sized charter membership. .The secret work was exemplified by the team from Herculean Temple No. 27, at Milton. After the ceremony refresh ments were served. Reduced Kates From the East. Robbed the Grave. A startling incident is narrated by John Oliver of Philadelphia as follows: "I was in an awful condition. My skin was almost yellow, eyes sunken, tongue coated, pain continually in back and sides, no appetite, growing weaker day by day. Three physicians had give me up. Then I was advised to use Electric Bitters; to my great joy the first bottle made a decided improvement. I. con tinued their use for three weeks, and am now a well man. I know they robbed the grave of another victim." No one should fail to try them. Only DO cents, guaranteed, at G. C. Osburn's drug store. ... . Summons.
